A haunting and quiet spot with nothing but darkness, and maybe ghosts – if you’re into that sort of thing.
You can stay overnight in the car park at Val Ygot as long as it’s not too busy. The ground is relatively level and you can get far off the road, which is lightly trafficked at night. There is very little phone reception in the area, but it is a very pretty place, despite the V1 site you can visit next door.
